We booked it before and would recommend it to everyone. There was plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.

The staff is very pleasant, and the host too.

Would stay here again, I enjoyed spending time there. Thanks guys for a lovely stay on the all important value for money scale. The hotel rooms are huge and bright exactly like in the pictures. The location is marvellous, 1 km from Robert Burns Centre. You can eat in restaurants and bars.

Uncomfortable layout with a shared bathroom situation!!! Dusty corners in the room suggest a need for deeper cleaning!!! Addressing the management's attitude towards guests needing invoices would greatly enhance the stay!!!

Just a proper fit for strolling around in Dumfries with value for price. The superb breakfast made my short stay nice. Consider checking if breakfast hours fit your schedule.

Perfect for solo adventurers

Colin, the owner, was really friendly and even helped with luggage. Breakfast was great too, with decent coffee and proper fry-up that got me set for the day.

Stayed at the villa for one night and really loved it. Colin, the owner, was super cute and helped carry my bags. The room was quiet and well-stocked. The breakfast room had great facilities, like a fridge and microwave. It was close to the town and perfect for enjoying the sights and pubs.

We appreciated the spacious layout of the double room. The local recommendations from the staff were spot on for our evening out.

Check-in took longer than expected.

We explored the beautiful Glentress trails and enjoyed the atmosphere around the local golf courses. The breakfast was also a highlight, freshly cooked and very tasty!

I faced a bit of a hiccup when the manager asked me to leave earlier than expected, despite arranging a late check-out. It was kind of disruptive, especially trying to get ready for a big day. Just keep that in mind when planning your stay.

Charming Stay with Really good Service

We spent two good nights in a spacious family room. Colin, the owner, goes above and beyond to. The hearty breakfast energized our family outings, especially with the fresh coffee and juice. Definitely check out the local golf club nearby!

I had a lovely stay here! The breakfast was simply amazing, and the lovely garden was such a relaxing spot. I also appreciated the comfortable bed and cleanliness of the room. Would definitely return!

The villa had a great location close to restaurants and beautiful walks. Colin was an amazing host, always ready to help and serve a delicious breakfast. We hardly needed lunch! The charm of the town added to our stay.

The location couldn't be better, right in the city center. It made exploring the area super easy. Colin, the host, was friendly and cute, full of tips about local attractions. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a highlight-plenty of delicious options to choose from, especially the porridge. The only downside was the early breakfast timing. It starts at 7:45 AM. I noticed some areas in the common spaces needed a deep clean, and a few carpets looked a tad worn down. Nevertheless, my overall experience was very positive. I felt at home and appreciated the cozy atmosphere.
